Pre-Application Meetings
The purpose of a pre-application meeting is to help applicants prepare a development application for submittal to the City. This meeting is an informal opportunity to:
- Help you become familiar with the requirements, permit process, and fees.
- Identify potential conflicts between the proposal and applicable requirements.
- Define what permits and application materials are needed for your application.
A pre-application meeting is not meant to be a detailed review or approval of your proposal. City comments will be based on the information received. Applicants are encouraged to provide as much information as possible for a more thorough response.
Important Information
- All items (including applicable fees) must be submitted to reserve a meeting date.
- These 1-hour meetings are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, on the:
- 2nd Thursday, 2:00-3:00 PM or 3:30-4:30 PM
- 4th Thursday, 2:00-3:00 PM or 3:30-4:30 PM
- A meeting will be scheduled for the next available time, typically 3-4 weeks after the City receives a complete request.
- Pre-application meetings are not binding and do not vest a proposal to zoning or other land use control ordinances, subdivision ordinances, or building ordinances. Requirements are subject to change after the pre-application meeting.
- Future review of your formal application may require changes or additional information.
