CLOSED

In accordance with the Governor’s phased reopening plan and orders from the State Supreme Court, the Justice & Municipal Center, Police Department, and Public Works Center are currently closed to the public except for individuals with scheduled court hearings. The Municipal Court counter remains closed. The Recreation Office and Senior Center will be closed in conjunction with the School District closure.

Goal

The goal of Bonney Lake City Council is to give citizens the opportunity to participate in the process of government and help our community achieve its full potential. Among its primary duties, the City Council makes laws, sets policies, adopts regulations and budgets, levies taxes, controls the finances and property of the City, authorizes public improvement, provides for public safety and health, forms boards, commissions and agencies; and oversees a wide-ranging agenda for the community.

The Council Standing Committees exist to review and advise the City Council. The City Council standing committees include Community Development Committee, Finance Committee, Public Safety Committee, and Voucher Review Committee. Councilmembers serve as committee members and chairs for these committees.
