Council Meetings and Workshops
The public is invited to attend Council Meetings and Workshops in person, via conference call or over the internet.
The information for attending is provided below. Please note that if you connect via the website link and/or call into the meeting, please make sure the microphone on your computer and/or phone is muted, otherwise it will cause a screeching feedback sound or background noise. This will interfere with the meeting.
Citizen comments can be made in-person, by phone or virtually during this
portion of the meeting. Comments are limited to 5 minutes. Those planning to
comment via phone or virtually will need to sign up prior to the meeting in
order to comment. When signing up, please provide your name, your screen name, and
phone number (for callers), either by email to [email protected] or by mail to Justice & Municipal Center, Attn: City
Clerk, 9002 Main St. E., STE 125, Bonney Lake, WA 98391.
You may call to register to speak as well at 253-862-8602, however,
those calls must be received by 5:00 pm.
Email registrations may be made as late as 5:30 p.m. the day of the
meeting. Your name will be called when it is your turn and you will be able to
comment.
Those physically appearing at the Council meeting to speak during citizen
comments do not need to sign up, but will be asked to state their name and
address for the meeting record.
With the ability of the public to address the Council via phone, virtually or
in-person, the City Clerk’s Office will no longer accept citizen comments to be
read by staff into the record.
As a reminder, citizen comments are only taken at Council Meetings, not Workshops.
