The Bonney Lake Senior Center needs volunteers to help set up their food pantry. The food pantry is a small food bank type service where local seniors are able to pick up fresh produce, bakery items, canned goods and non-perishables free of charge. The staff of the center needs help setting this pantry up during the lunch hour for the seniors that drive by to pick up their lunches. Volunteers need to be able to lift up to 15# and be on their feet for 1-2 hours at a time. The hours needed are 11:00-1:00pm. For more information or to volunteer please contact Lorrie at 253-447-3104. Thank you.

In an effort to take proactive measures to protect the health and safety of the community and staff, as of Monday March 16, 2020, the Senior Center will be closed until further notice.

Take- out meals will be offered to those able to pick them up beginning 3/17/2020. Delivery will be available to seniors without family or friends available to help. Meals can be picked up between 12 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. Seniors will need to call at or before 8:00 a.m. to preorder a meal. Suggested donation of $5 for each meal, payable by cash or check for those that are able to (this is not mandatory in order to receive lunch). Call 253-863-7658 for more information on the closure and meal program.

Please see the take out menu at the right.

Our team is also connecting seniors and other at-risk members of the community with grocery shopping helpers. If you or someone you know needs assistance with grocery shopping, call the Senior Center at 253-863-7658.
