Overview

The mission of the engineering division is to plan, design, and construct the transportation and utility infrastructures of the City to meet the needs of the rapidly growing population and commercial businesses in a way that is safe, cost effective, timely, and consistent with the Comprehensive Plan and current Design Standards.

The City of Bonney Lake Engineering Division, in the Public Services Department, serves the needs of the citizens of Bonney Lake by providing professional engineering services to the community and City government. The division is dedicated to maintaining a business friendly and professional environment with a high level of responsiveness to elected officials, city staff, citizens, developers, and consultants. Emphasis is placed on protecting the public health, safety, and welfare of our neighborhoods, and improving the quality of life for residents and visitors.

The Engineering Division employs three professional engineers, an inspector, and a contract administrator to address capital projects as well as commercial and residential projects within the City as well as water and sewer utility work outside the limits of the City.
