BLPD's Real Men Wear Pink Campaign

The Bonney Lake Police Department has teamed up with the American Cancer Society to participate in the Real Men Wear Pink breast cancer awareness campaign during the month of October. Over the last several years, our department members have been deeply impacted by breast cancer. We have a retired department member and a current department member who are survivors, a spouse who is a survivor and two spouses who are currently battling this horrible disease. BLPD stands behind our courageous ladies and all of the courageous ladies who have fought, or are currently fighting, breast cancer. You won’t fight alone!

Officers have been authorized to purchase and wear pink badges and breast cancer ribbons during the month of October. In addition, BLPD has set up a fund raising web page with the goal of raising $2500 to help in the fight against breast cancer. Our fund raising page can be found here:
