City of Bonney Lake Resources
We live in a world that faces a variety of threats - both natural and man-made. Will we have to deal with the impacts of floods, severe storms, wildfires, and an eruption of Mount Rainier, earthquake, biological agents, chemicals, suicide bombings, or cyberspace attacks?
The City of Bonney Lake is working on updating its Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan to promote citizen self-sufficiency, improve first responder capabilities, guide organizational behavior in an emergency or disaster, and create an atmosphere of interagency cooperation.
The City also has a Hazard Mitigation Plan, originally adopted in 2004. The latest version of the plan was developed in cooperation with the Pierce County Department of Emergency Management and participating local jurisdictions.
