The City of Bonney Lake and Cascade Regional Blood Services invite you to Donate Blood. Your donation is urgently needed to maintain an adequate blood supply. We encourage you to make an appointment, which will help minimize the time it takes for you to donate. 

Please encourage your friends and co-workers to donate blood. If you’re unable to donate, please consider finding someone to donate in your place.

Food Worker Card Class

Cost: $10.00 - cash only

The Tacoma Pierce County Health Department will be offering the Food Worker Card Class at the Bonney Lake Senior Center. Food Worker Cards are required for all food establishment workers in Washington State. This course is normally offered at the Health Department building in Tacoma, so take advantage of this special offering! 

Individuals wanting to attend must bring photo identification (i.e., driver's license or other State ID) and $10.00 cash (no debit/credit cards or checks will be accepted). Registration will begin by 11:00 a.m. on March 27.

D.M. Disposal Spring Clean Up Week - D.M. Disposal

During Spring Clean Up Week, D.M. Disposal will pick up extra garbage, recycling and/or yard waste and one appliance at no additional charge for customers inside Bonney Lake city limits.

Clean Up Details & Requirements
¤  Curbside pick-up only (no alley access).
¤  Up to 3 extra cans/bags of garbage and/or yard waste 
     -  Additional cans/bags must weigh no more than 45 lbs when full.
     -  Extra cans or bags of garbage or yard waste should be placed for pickup by Thursday April, 15.
¤  One (1) appliance per household. Acceptable appliances include: 
     - Refrigerators, stoves, microwaves, dishwashers, freezers, hot water heaters, washers or dryers.
     - Appliances must be placed for curb-side pick up by 7:00 am on Monday, April 12th

Spring Clean Up is available to customer accounts inside the city limits of Bonney Lake only. This offer does not apply to Murrey's Disposal customers with accounts in unincorporated Pierce County.

Similar to our very popular Adult Flashlight Egg Hunt, participants will be searching for pumpkin ‘eggs’ instead of Easter eggs. With over 2000 eggs to find, participants will have a chance to win prizes such as: restaurant certificates, fall gift items, soda, chips, candy, and MORE! Event will take place rain or shine. Children under the age of 18 will not be allowed in the event area. Photo ID and flashlight are a must! Dress in costume, win some prizes and get ready to have some fun!

Please join Mayor Neil Johnson and one of your Councilmembers for coffee and casual conversation the first Monday of every month at 9:00am. The event will be held at the Bonney Lake Senior Center, next door to City Hall.

Mayor Johnson is looking for an honest and open dialogue with the residents of Bonney Lake and will take a few minutes to share his thoughts on many different community issues.

The Missoula Children’s Theater provides a week-long residency "starring" 50-60 of our local students in a full-scale musical. MCT has been touring now for more than 30 years, visiting nearly 1,100 communities annually in all 50 states, 4 Canadian Provinces and overseas. Their mission is the development of lifeskills in children through participation in the performing arts.

Come learn how easy healthy family living is here on the Plateau! The event will include food, activities for the whole family, kids' play area, giveaways, blood mobile donations, health screenings, and live music by The Blue Juice Band from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Bonney Lake Night at the Rainiers

Cost: $15.00 per ticket (see below)

Get your tickets today for the inaugural Bonney Lake Night with the Tacoma Rainiers baseball team! See the Tacoma Rainiers battle the Salt Lake Bees (LA Angels AAA Club). Five dollars of each game ticket sold locally will go to the Bonney Lake High School sports booster association. Mayor Johnson will throw out the first pitch. The BLHS band will play the national anthem. There will be a collection barrel for the Bonney Lake Food Bank. 

Tickets are $15.00 each, and include a baseball meal deal: hot dog, bag of chips and soda. Purchase tickets at these locations: City Hall, City Annex, Sumner Bonney Lake Recreation Department, Prime Fitness, CJ’s Deli, Mountainview Chiropractic and Wellness Center, Bonney Lake Dog House, Harborstone Credit Union/BL Chamber of Commerce.

Cle Elum Senior Center Benefit Dinner - Taco Bar

The Bonney Lake Senior Center presents a Taco Bar Benefit Dinner, including live entertainment and great food. All proceeds will go to help with the rebuilding of the Cle Elum Senior Center, which was tragically lost due to a fire.

Children 10 and under $5.00 (includes 1 soda)

Pancake Feed & Town Hall Community Pancake Breakfast & Town Hall Open House

Open HouseThe Bonney Lake City Council will host a pancake breakfast and Town Hall open house on Saturday January 30th, from 8:30 to 10:30 am in the
Bonney Lake Senior Center (19304 Bonney Lake Blvd). 

Before or after you fill up on hot cakes, you can visit with the mayor & city council members about community issues of concern. We will be providing information and listening to your comments.

 You'll find informational displays on topics such as:
* WSU Forest, Trees, Trails, and Parks;
* General Updates on City and private capital projects;
* City’s new Interim Justice Center project and downtown plan;
* Current and planned transportation project; and 
* Focus group on general City services. 

This is a family event, so before getting busy on your Saturday activities, please stop by. We would enjoy meeting the entire family and hearing your views over a stack of hot cakes. We promise not to pour it on too thick! 

Open HouseThe City Council is also interested in using some of this time to conduct a 30 minute focus group exercise on general City services. There will be 2 focus group sessions, one starting at 8:30am and the other starting at 10:30am. If you are interest in participating, please plan to arrive at either 8:30 or 10:30am.
