Cascade Water Alliance is beginning its annual milfoil treatment activities specified in the 2015 Lake Tapps Integrated Aquatic Vegetation Management Plan (IAVMP). The treatment methods preferred under the IAVMP are hand-pulling and/or herbicide application. This year, the spring survey of milfoil in Lake Tapps resulted in the decision to pursue herbicide application with very limited hand-pulling. Cascade is schedule to have divers hand-pulling milfoil from the Allan Yorke Park swim area on July 16 and 17 and the boat launch on July 25. See the map below for the treatment area.
